Physicians' First Bancorp

Investor relations

Own the institution earning the spread.

Physicians' First Bancorp is a physician-owned bank holding company raising a Series A to acquire and operate a community bank built around physicians. The board is physician-dominated; day-to-day banking leadership is recruited from experienced bankers. The model adapts the ownership principles that made ambulatory surgery centers work: the people who generate the value own the institution that finances it.

Why invest

The case for the bank

Physician-led expertise

Founders who built ASCs, surgical hospitals, and device companies, applying proven physician-ownership economics to banking.

Best-in-class management

A physician-dominated board recruiting experienced banking executives to run operations. Owners set direction; bankers run the bank.

The market is enormous and underserved

Physician salaries total roughly $377 billion a year, and the ASC market roughly $48 billion. Physician banking already works: TransPecos Banks grew assets roughly 4x after focusing on physicians through BankMD.

A clear path to profitability

Community banks typically run 10-15% profit margins; private banking runs to 37%. The plan targets the premium end by serving the clients every bank wants: physicians.

Ownership-aligned incentives

Customers are shareholders. The bank succeeds only when its physician clients do, which is the same alignment that made physician-owned ASCs outperform.

Capital that compounds inside the Nexus

Every dollar of equity expands lending capacity available to physician-owned projects, with banking and insurance working on the same side through The Physicians Nexus partnership.

How will I stay informed?

Quarterly shareholder letters are published in the documents section of this page, and material updates appear in News.
